Buckets
Bucket containers are difficult to carry, not waterproof, and can be very unorganized which makes items difficult to find during an emergency. Dumping the contents out of the bucket is the only way to find what you need when it really counts. Also buckets do not have a lock system keeping your products at risk of theft or damage.
Bags
Mostly made of cloth or fabric, bags are not waterproof and most do not have a lock system. Items can shift, causing it to become unorganized and can get really heavy (depending on how long you have to carry them). Emergency items are not protected which can cause equipment damage or malfunctions.
Bug-Out-Bags (Backpacks)
Not everyone is healthy or strong enough to carry heavy weight on their back. If backpacks are not fitted properly or evenly weighted, the chances of short and long term hip and back injuries exists. Depending on the size, room for supplies can be limited. Backpacks do not protect contents from being damaged. They are not waterproof and can’t be locked.
