4x4C Emergency Case

Disaster can strike quickly and without warning. It can force you to evacuate your neighborhood or confine you to your home. What would you do if basic services, such as water, gas, electricity, or telephones were cut off?

Many people don’t quite understand what will happen during a natural or man made disaster. By no means are these scare tactics or marketing methods to get you to buy any of our emergency preparedness equipment.

As we go through our journey of growing our business and educating people about the importance of being prepared, we’ve learned a couple of things:

  • 80% of households are not prepared for any type of disaster.
  • People believe our local, state and federal government will be there to assist them if a disaster does occur.
  • Essential items like food, water, and emergency tools will be scarce to nonexistent because stores will not have enough to go around.
  • Hospitals will be swarmed by thousands of injured people during a disaster and may not have the emergency equipment or nursing staff needed to help everyone.
  • Emergency Shelters will have limited space and equipment to assist those who have lost their homes or who have to be evacuated.

Many people believe the government or designated organizations will come to help. The truth is, that’s not at all what will happen. They DO NOT have enough manpower or resources to help everyone in such a short amount of time.

Local officials and relief workers will be on the scene after a disaster, but they cannot reach everyone right away. Many will have to wait for help to arrive… and that could actually mean days or weeks.

How will you care for your family? What will you do?

Families need to rely on themselves by preparing in advance and know how to work together as a team. Being prepared for any disaster is your best protection for you and your loved ones.

It’s your responsibility to take care of loved ones if an emergency or disaster situation were to occur.

Ask yourself… AM I REALLY PREPARED?
Chances are, you’re not.
